CDs
A CD (certificate of deposit) is a type of deposit account that’s payable at the end of a specified amount of time (referred to as the term). CDs generally pay a fixed rate of interest and can offer a higher interest rate. Bank of the West offers a variety of financial services; including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, auto, home and personal loans. Visit us online or at any of our more than 500 branch locations.
With a minimum deposit of $2,500, a CD offers a competitive fixed rate, a fixed term of investment, plus a guaranteed return of your principal. The rate of interest is set at the time of issue and is dependent upon the amount and maturity of the CD. Deposits of less than $10,000 will only be issued for maturities of one year or more. Early withdrawal penalties apply*.
